A "Class Ten Thousand" Clean Room means that 10,000 particles per cubic feet per minute of .3 micron or greater size will be present in air. Most probes are manufactured where that number can rise to as high as 250,000 particles on the plant floor. That level of contamination can retard probe performance.
"Contamination is an enemy of consistent probe performance," said Howard Weiner, Senior Vice President. "If you can eliminate that one moment when a contaminant gets in between the plunger and the barrel, you’ll eliminate that spike in resistance."
